Acts 1:8 Church Part 2

This week we are looking at the DNA of an Acts 1:8 church. One of the first strands of church DNA a church should possess is in being Holy Spirit Led.

He told them, "You don't get to know the time. Timing is the Father's business. What you'll get is the Holy Spirit. And when the Holy Spirit comes on you, you will be able to be my witnesses in Jerusalem, all over Judea and Samaria, even to the ends of the world."

I have to say there is so much that could be packed into being Holy Spirit Led. In fact, we could take a week or two to really flesh that out.

One of the things that I believe is that the second two don't come without the first. By that I mean you are not going to be evangelistic or reproduce unless you are Holy Spirit Led.

Listening to the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit as He helps us to build the Lord's church is so vital to a pastor. In fact, is is probably the single thing that will help you be successful as you pastor or lead a ministry.
