New Graphics

So I decided to make some graphics today for the future. This one was the best for its simplicity.

Past Graphical Work

I don't profess to be the greatest graphic artist...I think I know how to get the most out of some really cheap programs. Here is a slide show of most of my graphical ministry work over the past 2 years. Man how I wish I had photoshop.

Journey Students

I'm really pumped about tonight. We are launching our Journey Student Ministry Weekly Connect Group.

This is another area we feel is vital for our growth. I will be putting together a team that will focus on this area.

Tonight we will be kicking off with a discussion on Making A Difference.

Why Did Jesus Graphic 2

After about 2 hours of work...I'm a lot more pleased with this graphic for the next series.

Next Series Graphic

Next series starting this week is called, "Why Did Jesus Have To Say That". Finished the graphic and have to admit that I'm not 100% sold on it. Problem is with my technology it is about all I can do.

Road Trip Graphic

Here is our graphic for our July Series called Road Trip.

The ELEV8FLIX Envelope

Hey readers. I really would like to get some feedback on my two graphics for the summer.

I really thought the NETFLIX envelope would work great as a mailer for a church. I had a brainstorm about it that I thought a church could use. It might be a little expensive but it would be an eyeopener.

You could actually design it as a an envelope and put a DVD in it. The DVD would have a promo for the series and then some extras that would give people an inside look at the church.

I really think it would get people to open and check it out. Especially if the front was kept really plain. On the back of the envelope could be info on the series and a message from the pastor.

It might be a little extra in cost...but do you think it would be an attention getter.

TO COMMENT...JUST HIT THAT LITTLE COMMENT WORD BELOW. RSS READS GO TO THE ORIGINAL POST.

Using Graphic Design in Ministry

Today, as we continue talking about technology in ministry, I want to highlight graphic design. We use graphic design in three primary ways in our ministry.

• Simple weekly promo graphics to upload to websites and use in videos. This is our latest.
• Series graphics for announcements in bulletins, powerpoints, handouts, videos.
• Announcement graphics for events.

Other ways include:
Logo's, t-shirt designs, handouts, and printed materials.

What are some other ways you use graphics?
