Feels like so much to do and so little time. So we are taking this journey one day at a time. Today in our staff meeting, Dean and I laid out our calendar for the next three months and decided on a few tasks each of us is going to work on.
I am going to begin setting up our teaching calendar to help us be on track for the rest of 2007 so look for that coming out on the Journey Inside within a few weeks.
Dean has an idea for "Man Church" which we plan to launch in September. Our Journey Connect Groups will be launching at the end of this month. And we will have our first Guest Connect Luncheon on the last Saturday of this month. The ladies will be launching "Simply Sisters". And Journey Student Ministry will kick off quickly.
Here's the deal: I've heard a lot about following the principles of "How To Launch A Church". And there are a lot of principles out there that we are going to follow. But at the same time we are going to let God be God and not tell Him how to do it.
We are going to lay out some plans and goals and let God show us just how big of a God He really is by smashing the ceiling off the house. Who am I to tell God He can't just go ahead and make it all happen.
