Short post this morning...We are off to our first Connexion Lunch. This is a lunch where everyone who has been a guest of ours at Journey Church will get to go a little more in depth with us. We will be doing these Connexion Lunches every month or two.
The purpose of this lunch is to go over the vision, ask for a commitment and present ministry opportunities.
At this lunch we challenge those who have been coming and checking us out to commit to us for at least a year. By commit we mean just that; commit to attending, commit to being in a Journey Connect Group and commit to serving.
Jesus gave those early listeners a huge challenge of commitment. He said, "Follow me, and I'll make you fishers of men."
We at Journey Church are saying just about the same thing.
Commit to us for a year and we feel your life will never be the same.
