I really like what I've seen so far, and I appreciate your willingness to help me out.

The Journey Church (www.theepicjourney.com) is in Murray, KY. Calloway County has about 33,000 people when Murray State is in session. Right now, we're meeting on campus, and fighting the stigma of being a "college church." But, we have done some great things to reach into the family population.Jarrod Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17232349141964893785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24561639.post-21722472247373797882007-11-03T09:43:00.000-05:002007-11-03T09:43:00.000-05:00Thanks for both of the comments...I think I will g...Thanks for both of the comments...I think I will get on that soap box in a week or two.

Thanks Jarrod I so agree…we could probably plant 4 or 5 of the same churches in a town and if we really do try to reach the lost there would never be any competition.Jason Curleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12552848845452427399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24561639.post-28525716836671395802007-11-03T08:28:00.000-05:002007-11-03T08:28:00.000-05:00I agree, Jason. My church of only 2 years is located in a very rural area, and despite the hundreds of churches, the majority of people aren't attending any church. The numbers are astounding: there are so many unreached people right down the road.

I think most churches think about going far away because they're afraid of competition--as if that would be bad for the Kingdom of God! If only we could get unchurched people to have to make a choice!Jarrod Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17232349141964893785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24561639.post-51122921342879509052007-11-01T23:25:00.000-05:002007-11-01T23:25:00.000-05:00Wow, i never looked at the last part of the script...Wow, i never looked at the last part of the scripture like that!
