And I agree. However I'm curi...Good stuff, Jason. And I agree. However I'm curious about the type of accountability in place for that pastor. Our church does not vote by congregation either. However our pastor is held accountable by two groups of people. A directional leadership team comprised of staff members and a leadership team comprised of church members. The intent is to ensure that there is an appropriate measure of accountability. I don't know that it's the answer.
